Iqra Higher Secondary School is a Minority Institution established in 2000 by a group of concerned Muslim activists with a view to promote modern education at Tanda-Rampur in particular and the adjoining districts of Uttar Pradesh. Although this is a small institution at present but it seems destined to grow into a major hub of educational activities in near future by the grace of Allah.
Area & Location
The project is located at Tanda town in Rampur District of Uttar Pradesh in India. Tanda town is situated on Latitude: 28° 59′ 42″ N, Longitude: 78° 59′ 49″ E.
It is about 22 km north-west of the district headquarters of Rampur. which is 190 km from the National capital Delhi and 342 km from the state capital Lucknow, situated on Moradabad-Nanital highway. Moradabad Railway Station is the nearest railway station for reaching the town, which is well connected with important places through the bus route between Moradabad and Nainital cities.
The campus of the school falls on the road linking Tanda with Rampur, about 2 km from the heart of the town and the institutions therein serve a large population of the town and nearby by village.
